Throughout October we'll be taking Halloween Costumes.
Preference is given to complete outfits, but accessories like masks, wands, dress up hats etc. will also be considered.
If you have childrens' books and toys best suited to Halloween please bring them in as early as possible.

We’re getting ready for colder days, snow season and holiday shopping. Here’s what we’re especially looking for right now.
Infants & Babies
We’re currently taking:

Insulated or fleece one-piece outerwear suits and snowsuits

Snow-ready gloves and mitts

Warm sleepsacks — merino, 2 TOG+, fleece, etc.

Merino and quality baselayers

Long-sleeve winter tops
-
Sweaters and cozy knits

Winter-appropriate pants

Excellent-condition baby toys

Board books and giftable children's books

Quality toys that are complete, clean and ready to give
About stuffies: We generally don't accept traditional stuffed animals unless they are new and high quality with tags, boxed, or particularly special. Puppets and animated or activity plush toys may be accepted.
Toddlers, Children & Youth
Winter gear is a priority right now. We’re looking for:

Snow-ready jackets and snow pants

Winter slippers, winter boots, hikers and
-
Merino and quality poly baselayers
-
Winter snow gloves and quality knit (especially wool, ski and name brand hats)

Raingear
-
Winter-appropriate pants, shirts and sweaters

We’re getting well stocked on everyday basics, so we’re being more selective with regular pants, shirts and sweaters.

What we’d especially love to see are current, trend-forward and standout pieces — think baggy jeans, branded hoodies, great denim, and clothing that feels fresh and current.

Cute dresses and skirts are always in demand.
As Christmas Gets Closer
As we head toward the holidays, we’ll be putting an even bigger emphasis on brand-new, gift-ready items.
We’re looking for:

Beautiful, giftable books

Quality toys

Special pieces that a child would genuinely be excited to receive - If it feels like something you’d happily choose as a gift, we’d love to see it.
A Good Rule of Thumb
Please bring items that are clean, current, complete and in excellent condition — ready for their next little owner.
When deciding what to bring, ask yourself:
Would I be excited to find this in a great local kids’ shop?
If yes, bring it in.
Maternity & Nursing
We’re looking for genuine maternity clothing that works well through the colder months.
Especially wanted:

Maternity coats and outerwear

Seasonally appropriate maternity clothing (casual and office-wear)

Holiday and Occassion Dresses

Practical nursing-friendly winter pieces

Please note that we only accept clothing from genuine maternity brands. Regular clothing in a larger size or baggier style size does not qualify as maternity.
