Children's Clothes
The thing about kids is they grow. Then they grow again...and grow some more. So it's no surprise then that as parents we're constantly buying new stuff. The cool part of this incessant growth is that if their clothes are good quality, and well looked after (that's the tricky part!) then they're often in good enough condition for other children to wear and enjoy.
In addition to baby clothing and maternity wear we also sell clothing for toddlers and children, right up to size 14 youth.
At Play It Again Kids we're lucky enough to have over 2000 consignors so this gives us access to lots of cool items from outside of the Kootenays. Many of our consignors shop local from wonderful stores like Mountain Baby, shop online or have relatives who live in the cities or overseas - giving you access to some great quality brands that girls and boys will love.
While many of our items are second-hand (though we prefer the term 'very gently used') an increasing number are brand new with tags, making these suitable for gifting too.

Adidas
Spring Clothes:
Lighter sweaters, long and short-sleeve shirts, jeans, pants, lighter fleece jackets and tops, rain pants, rain jackets, mid and light weight jackets. We tend to steer more towards spring fabrics and tones - e.g. aqua blues, greens, yellow, light blues, navy, cream etc....vs. fall colours.
Summer Clothes:
Swimwear - Including bikinis, sun suits, swim trunks and one-piece bathing suits, shorts and Capri’s, sunhats, sunglasses, t-shirt, short-sleeve tops and shirts, summer skirts and lightweight jackets. We like lighter cottons, linens, UV protected fabrics in summery tones - whites, lights and brights!
Fall Clothes:
In early fall we will have more raingear, mid weight sweaters (cottons and lighter wool), lighter fleece, mid weight jackets and long sleeve shirts and tops, jeans, dresses, skirts, pants and good back-to-school clothing. Colours will shift more towards fall tones - more blacks, navy, browns, creams, burgundy, reds, orange etc. . We will start taking in dress up costumes, in time for the Halloween season.
Winter Clothes:
Ski and heavier outerwear, waterproof (preferably breathable) gear and hooded coats and jackets, lined-pants, jeans, ski bibs, hats, mitts, wool sweaters, thicker shirts, under shirts and pants, wool socks etc.
Certain items are not considered seasonal so will be available all year round. These include socks and underwear, rain gear, swimwear, formal wear (e.g. for weddings, family photos etc), dance and gymnastics clothing and dress-up clothing. These may not always be on display in store, so please ask if you need these items.
Although Play It Again Kids is based in Nelson BC, our consignors and customers come from all across the Kootenays - especially from our local communities of Balfour, Castlegar, Cranbrook, Crawford Bay, Creston, Fruitvale, Kaslo, Nakusp, New Denver, Riondel, Rossland, Salmo,Trail, Winlaw and Ymir.
